Josh Allen made every play a quarterback could and more.
After his engagement to pop star Hailee Steinfeld, Allen battled the lake-effect snowstorm that hit Buffalo over the holiday weekend and continued into Sunday night against the 49ers.

Allen had extra energy as the Bills beat the 49ers 35-10, securing the AFC East for the fifth consecutive season.
He got on the scoreboard with a 7-yard pass to Mack Hollins before halftime, giving Buffalo a 21-3 lead at the break, but they weren’t done yet.
In the third quarter, Allen earned a receiving touchdown after Amari Cooper lateralled the ball back to him, and he ran it in for the score, finishing with seven receiving yards and a touchdown, though he had no catches.

To seal the win, Allen ran for an 8-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, putting the game out of reach, before Mitchell Trubisky took over.

Allen became the first NFL quarterback since the merger to throw, run, and catch a touchdown in a single game, according to the team.
He threw for 148 yards on 13 completions and added 18 rushing yards.
Bills running backs James Cook and Ray Davis also scored, with Cook recording a 65-yard touchdown run and Davis a 5-yard touchdown. Cook finished with 107 rushing yards, while Davis had 59.
The 49ers struggled to match the Bills’ offense all night, with players slipping and sliding in the snowy conditions.
San Francisco’s best chance was to rely on Christian McCaffrey, but the running back suffered a knee injury in the first half and didn’t return.
Brock Purdy finished with just 94 passing yards, going 11-of-18, and was sacked twice. Isaac Guerendo scored the 49ers’ only touchdown.

Buffalo is riding a seven-game winning streak and has 10 victories on the season.
San Francisco dropped to 5-7, and it seemed like their season was slipping away.
