Florence Pugh

Florence Pugh (born January 3, 1996, in Oxford, England) is a British actress.[1][2][3][4] She studied at Wychwood School and St Edward’s School,[2][4][5] developing an early interest in performance, and began her career with the independent drama The Falling (2014),[1][2][5][6] establishing a strong screen presence.

She gained recognition with Lady Macbeth (2016), earning critical acclaim for her intense performance, and rose to global fame with Midsommar and Little Women, the latter bringing an Academy Award nomination.[7][8][9] Known for emotionally raw, fearless roles, she transitioned quickly into a leading figure.

She has since starred in major projects like Black Widow, Oppenheimer, and Dune: Part Two, while expanding into production[10][11][12] and high-fashion influence.[13][14] With a growing presence in blockbuster cinema and auteur films, she remains a defining talent shaping contemporary acting.
