Theo James (born December 16, 1984, in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England) is an English actor, producer, and musician. He studied philosophy at the University of Nottingham before training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Early television appearances and supporting film roles helped launch his acting career.
He gained international recognition as Tobias “Four” Eaton in the Divergent film series. He later earned acclaim for The White Lotus, The Gentlemen, The Time Traveler’s Wife, and The Monkey.
